By pinpointing areas plagued by marine litter, the interactive photomap could support targeting and clean-up efforts and initiatives to prevent further pollution. We are looking for a diversity of photographic works documenting the issue of marine litter on the seabed, sea surface, and on the beach, including marine litter accumulation, interactions with nature and wildlife, impacts, etc. to raise public awareness on marine litter impacts on marine life and ecosystems, fishing and maritime industries, the quality of life in coastal communities, and human health and safety.
